SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday School is a weekly Bible study opportunity available to everyone. Classes are available for every age group. Adults can select between a couple’s class, or a men’s or ladies’ class. Each class is led by a qualified teacher grounded in the doctrines of the Bible. Classes meet every Sunday
morning from 9:45am – 10:35pm.
AWANA (Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed) is a Wednesday night program for children ages 3 – 6 th grade. The children divide up into three different groups for the evening according to their age or grade level: Cubbies (3 & 4 year olds), Sparks (Kindergarten – 2 nd grade) and Truth ‘N Training (3 rd – 6 th grades). The children (“clubbers”) enjoy games, prizes, music, parties and more. Additionally, the clubbers spend time studying God’s Word, memorizing Scripture and listening to special devotionals.
J.A.M.
J.A.M. (Jesus And Me) is for children 1 st – 6 th grade and meets every Sunday night. J.A.M. includes games, music, crafts and practical Bible lessons. Also, the children get the opportunity to prepare and perform special musical performances for the church.
YOUTH GROUP
Northside offers an active youth group (7 th – 12 th grades) where young people can experience spiritual growth and fellowship with other believers their age. Special activities include Bible Basics 101 (Discipleship class, Sunday's at 5:00pm) Youth WOW (Worship of Wednesday at 6:30pm)), trips to special youth conferences, weekend retreats, mission trips, Disciple Now weekends, and many special recreational opportunities.
ADULT BIBLE STUDY
Pastor Wes Pratt leads in a time of prayer and Bible study ever Wednesday evening at 7:00pm for all interested adults.
THRIVE
Are you a young adult looking for some godly friends to fellowship and study God’s Word with? THRIVE could be what you are looking for. The group meets weekly for Bible study and fellowship in a casual atmosphere. Also, the group frequently participates in other activities and special events. The group ranges from seniors in high school to mid-twenties and includes singles, dating couples and married couples.
PRIME TIMERS
Prime Timers is for those 55 and older who enjoy good food, fun and fellowship. Activities include game days, potluck dinners and special trips.
CHOIR
The church choir practices weekly and performs during Sunday morning services. The choir also prepares special cantata and musical programs for the church’s enjoyment and edification. Choir membership is open to all interested.
GROW
GROW is a program organized for the purpose of expanding Northside’s ministry through reaching the lost and contacting those looking for a church home.
WMA
The Women’s Missionary Auxiliary is a ladies group that meets weekly for Bible study. They are also involved in missions work, raising funds for specific projects around the world.
GMA
The Girl’s Missionary Auxiliary is a discipleship program for young girls. They are challenged to study God’s Word on a deeper level and taught how to become the Christian young ladies that God intends for them to be.
